		<description>I think the rest of the world agrees with you on how bizarre it is to need to have the disc in to watch netflix. I&#039;m pretty sure Sony REALLY just wanted to have something working before the Christmas shopping started, especially now that the price has gone down on the PS3.

Here&#039;s a quote from an interview with a Netflix employee stating that they are working on an embedded solution:

&quot;Again, the instant streaming disc represented the fastest and easiest way to let PS3 enthusiasts get Netflix on the PS3. Late next year we expect to have an embedded solution available for PS3s via a system software update slated for release through the PlayStation Network.&quot;
